Dr. Dawn Devaney Gammon

Dr. Gammon graduated with high honors from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in North Miami Beach, Florida in 1996. She completed her residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center/Southwestern Blind Rehabilitation Center in Tucson, Arizona. She is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular conditions using therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Gammon has been practicing in the Metropolitan DC area since 1999. She was recognized as a Top Optometrist in Consumers’ Research Council of America's Guide to America’s Top Optometrists in the 2009, 2006-2007, 2004-2005 and 2002-2003 editions.

Dr. Gammon loves working with people and is fully dedicated to taking the time and energy to meet the needs of each patient.

Lindsay S. Wegert, ABOC, NCLEC, Manager

Lindsay has practiced opticianry for over 27 years. She has been Virginia licensed and certified since 1986. Nationally recognized as a speaker, trainer, and educator in her field, she has been instrumental in developing and implementing training programs for other optical professionals. Lindsay was voted “Best and Brightest” by her professional peers and 20/20 Magazine. Lindsay is a professional Certified Image Consultant and uses an individual's hair, skin and eye color as well as lifestyle and fashion personality to help you select the eyewear that creates your most flattering image.

Lindsay is an artist in her off time. She uses her artistry to style our eclectic frames to each face.

Dr. Sam M. Stumer

Dr. Stumer graduated from the State University of New York/State College of Optometry in New York City in 1991. He went on to complete residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Family Practice Optometry. He is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and has been practicing in northern Virginia area since 1992. Originally from the same home town on Long Island as Dr. Gammon, they met while practicing in the Washington Metropolitan area. Dr. Stumer is a highly experienced and compassionate Optometrist, and has a special interest in the care and management of refractive surgery patients, as he was one of the first optometrists in northern Virginia to be trained in this specialty. He has been a successful LASIK patient for over ten years.

Dr. Stumer looks forward to working with you and your family on all of your eye care needs.

Dr. Erin Vogt Stromberg

Dr. Vogt graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania in 2007. She completed externships at Charleston Eye in Charleston, South Carolina, Consultative Eye Care in Wayzata, Minnesota, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Comprehensive Eye Care in Hialeah, Florida and the Veteran’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Vogt is a certified Ortho-Keratology fitting professional. She is experienced with contact lens and specialty contact lens fitting, pre- and post-operative LASIK and cataract surgeries, eye diseases and primary care optometry. Dr. Vogt has been a resident of Fairfax since 2007 and enjoys what the DC area has to offer. She enjoys spending time outside, being with her family and friends and touring the area. She is a dedicated eye care practitioner and would love to see you for an eye examination.

Cindy Elkin, Optician

Cindy Elkin, FNAO, ABOM, Virginia Licensed Optician

Cindy has been helping Northern Virginians with their eyewear needs for over 40 years. She uses her years of experience to help take the guesswork out of choosing the eyewear that is most flattering, matching your prescription, lifestyle needs, skin tones and face shape.

Cindy is proud to be certified by the American Board of Opticianry as a Master Optician. In 2003 she was the recipient of the coveted Beverly Myers Achievement award given by the National Academy of Opticianry in recognition of those who have made a significant contribution to the field of opticianry education. She is a speaker at International Vision Expo, and has authored numerous articles for professional publications.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoys travel, cooking, reading and gardening.

Mary Ann Reyes, Customer Service Specialist

With her positive energy, and the joy she has for helping others, MaryAnn strives for the best in people, and works to help others reach their goals.

Alongside working at The Eyewear Gallery, MaryAnn is also a professional Hiphop dancer. She has been instructing dance to all ages/levels throughout the DC Metro area since 2004. She is currently focusing on growing the Northern VA dance community, and has developed a new dance program in Fairfax, VA. In addition to serving the community with dance, she has also contributed through being an active member of CFC Youth for Christ Service Team (Southern Maryland chapter). MaryAnn currently studies Business Management, Information Technology, and Dance at George Mason University.
